Estimates for information only
The calculators and articles on RupeeTree are for general information and education. The results are estimates based on the figures you enter and the assumptions explained on each page and on the How we calculate page.
Your actual EMI, interest, maturity amount or tax can differ because of rounding, the exact dates of payments, fees and charges, tax deducted at source, changes in interest rates, and the terms of your own loan, deposit or account.
Not advice
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any product. Talk to a qualified adviser, and confirm figures with your bank, lender, post office or fund house, before you make a decision.
Rates and rules change
Interest rates on government schemes are revised every quarter, and scheme rules and tax law are amended from time to time. We check them regularly and show the date and quarter they apply to, but there may be a delay before a change appears here. The official notification always takes precedence over this site.
Market-linked returns
Returns on mutual funds, shares and other market-linked investments are not guaranteed. The SIP and lumpsum calculators assume a steady yearly return; real returns rise and fall, and you can get back less than you invested.
No official connection
RupeeTree is independent. It is not run by, linked to or endorsed by the Government of India, India Post, the Reserve Bank of India or any bank, fund house or lender. Scheme names are used only to describe the schemes.
Responsibility
We work hard to keep every calculator accurate, but we cannot promise the site is free of errors. We are not responsible for any loss arising from decisions made using it. See the terms of use for details. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.
